Confusion

What did you say?

What?

I don’t understa-

Nevermind.

I’ll figure it out

Eventually.

But I don’t.

The confusion just gets worse

As more and more questions arise.

Too busy to take the time

To solve the problem.

Nagging,

Confusing me as

The problems build

Higher and higher

Causing me to be irritable

And angry.

Now I can’t solve the simplest problem

And people think I’m dumb,

Just because of all these problems

Taking up the small space in my head.

Why can’t they leave?

I’ll never solve them now,

Now that there’s no room for me to think.

How much longer will I last

Before the final question blasts away

My entire being?

Well written. Heavy subject matter has been your creative genius these days! I appreciate your willingness to explore the darkness. And I look forward to the lighter side too! Love, mom
